How often does a food plot need to be mowed?
Clover plots typically need mowing two to four times per season — once in late spring to knock back any winter weeds, again in mid-summer to keep it from going to seed, and sometimes once more in early fall depending on growth. The goal is keeping the canopy at a height deer prefer to graze — roughly 6 to 8 inches. Overgrown plots lose deer traffic fast.

Bush hogging is typically priced by the hour or the day depending on the scope. A half-day of bush hogging covers a significant amount of ground. Yes. Fence line clearing and boundary maintenance is especially important for absentee owners who need clear access around their property and don't want neighbors encroaching on overgrown lines. We can include perimeter maintenance in an annual program alongside plot and trail work.
Do you do one-time mowing jobs or only recurring programs?
Both. If you just need a one-time bush hog of a neglected property before you get it set up, we can do that. If you want an ongoing maintenance program, we set that up too. A lot of our clients start with a one-time cleanup and then move into a seasonal program once they see how the property responds.
