Full-Service Habitat Management
Southern Illinois is some of the best whitetail ground in the Midwest — big deer, affordable land, and enough timber and agriculture mix to produce world-class bucks. The guys shooting those deer aren't just lucky. They're managing their property intentionally: food plots positioned right, bedding structure built in, water on the property, trails that don't blow out stand locations, and blinds set where the deer actually are. We do all of that work.

The challenge for absentee landowners isn't knowing what needs to be done — it's having someone trustworthy to execute it when you're not there. We're local, we're experienced, and we run equipment that can handle everything from a food plot setup to a full pond build. We're not a consultant telling you what to do — we're the crew doing it.
We work with landowners across Southern Illinois who live hours away. They call us at the beginning of the season with what they want accomplished. We execute, report back, and their property is in shape when they roll in for the season opener.
Southern Illinois Knows Deer
Franklin, Williamson, Jackson, and Jefferson counties produce consistent trophy-class whitetails. The terrain — hardwood ridges, creek bottoms, agriculture edges, and dense river timber — creates natural deer movement that the right habitat work can capitalize on. We've been working ground in this region for over a decade and we understand how deer use the landscape here. That's the difference between generic habitat work and work that actually improves your hunting.

Every habitat project starts with a property walk. We look at what's there, what's missing, and what the right sequence of improvements is to get the most out of your investment. Call 618-417-7381 and tell us what you've got.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you manage hunting properties for out-of-state landowners?
Yes — this is a core part of what we do. A lot of the best hunting ground in Southern Illinois is owned by people who live in St. Louis, Chicago, Nashville, or elsewhere and can't be here to manage it. We run the program on your behalf — food plots, trails, hinge work, mowing, whatever the property needs — and you show up in October to a working setup. Call 618-417-7381 to talk through what your property needs.
What counties in Southern Illinois do you serve for land management?
We work throughout Southern Illinois — Franklin, Williamson, Jackson, Jefferson, Saline, Perry, Union, Johnson, Randolph, and Marion counties are all within our regular range. If you're not sure whether we cover your area, call 618-417-7381 and ask. We're based in Benton and run across the region.
Can you handle all aspects of habitat management or just the equipment work?
We handle the equipment and labor side — clearing, earthwork, trail cutting, hinge cuts, mowing, pond construction, blind placement. If you need agronomic input on seed selection or soil testing, we work alongside that but we're not an ag consultant. What we are is the crew that actually executes the work on the ground with the equipment to do it right.
How do I get started if I own property in Southern Illinois but live out of state?
Call 618-417-7381 and tell us what you've got — acreage, county, what's on the ground, and what you're trying to accomplish. We'll set up a site visit, walk the property, and put together a plan that fits your goals and your budget. A lot of absentee owners start with a cleanup and improvement project and then move into an ongoing maintenance program from there.
Do you offer annual maintenance programs for hunting properties?
Yes. We set up seasonal programs for absentee landowners that cover food plot mowing, trail maintenance, bush hogging, and other recurring work on a schedule. You tell us what the property needs and how often — we execute and report back. You show up to a property that looks like it's been managed, because it has.
